Meeting Minutes

April 25 2006

Pat opened the meeting by welcoming everyone.

Meeting minutes from April 4, 2006 were read.

Pat reported that a Mission Statement has been developed and will be put on the web. It was noted that all women riders, including passengers and/or women without a motorcycle license, can become members of LOH. Additionally, to be a member of LOH, a woman must have a membership in the Harley Owners Group or an associate membership.

Discussion centered on how to develop LOH and gain additional members.

Suggestions included:

Ÿ Contacting Steve at Utica HD to see if he can include information about LOH in a Utica HD mailing.

Ÿ Have post card type mailing that can be both mailed and given out with purchases at Utica HD.

Ÿ Make additional posters and place them in business and restaurants that host motorcyclists.

Ÿ Bike night table

Ÿ Handing out flyers at the Sylvan Beach bike night on Tuesday nights. The first Sylvan Beach bike night is May 23 and Lesley will have a table set up for Gates-Cole.

Ÿ Newspaper articles including public service announcements with meeting date and times.

It was decided by those in attendance that a LOH charity and/or event will be decided once the membership has increased. The current goal will be to expand membership.

Next LOH meeting will be May 30 at 6:30PM
